Benefit is undoubtedly one of the best department store cosmetic lines when it comes to concealers. They offer several concealers that go above and beyond what the competition offers. Covering undereye circles can be particularly challenging but these products make the task a lot easier.
Boi-ing is their signature cream concealer and it comes in a small pot. This concealer has been around forever for a reason: it really does get the job done. The coverage is very full and can cover even the darkest undereye circles with ease. It is also great for redness like you might find on the sides of your nose. The downside to Boi-ing is that it is only offered in three shades. While these shades seem to work for many the product’s devotees, those with darker skin tones might have trouble getting a good match.
Erase paste is another full coverage Benefit concealer. This one covers even better than Boi-ing but is less creamy, making it better for covering blemishes. However, it can be used just as easily on undereye circles if you warm it a little between your fingers to make it more spreadable. It comes in a little jar and has a consistency similar to clay. It also comes with a little spatula that is great for getting out just a tiny bit, which is all you need as a little bit of this highly pigmented concealer goes a very long way. It also stays put throughout the day, especially if set with powder.
Powderflage is a product that really sets Benefit makeup products apart from other lines of products. This very airy powder is designed to be used over top of concealer to help set it and make it wear better. It is really designed for under the eyes as it helps to prevent the concealer from settling into fine lines. It is a very light pink powder which does not appear pink on the face but rather has a brightening effect, helping your eyes to look more awake.
Finally, Lemon Aid is one of Benefit’s original and most well known concealers. It has a yellow tint to it – making it ideal for covering up purple or bluish under eye circles. It’s actually technically We like using a dab of it on the inner eye corner area where bluish veins tend to show up.
Anyone looking for solid, good quality concealers particularly for under the eyes need look no further than Benefit Cosmetics. These concealers are a great way to get the appearance of flawless skin. Like all BeneFit products, Benefit concealers are not cheap – but they will last a very long time.
