Loading ...MAC’s Eyeshadow is a highly-pigmented pressed powder eyeshadow. It applies very evenly which makes blending a snap. Eyeshadows come in 7 different finishes and hundreds of shades (all listed below). The variety of shades and finishes give you virtually endless possibilities for creating different looks and colour combinations.
The eyeshadows come in regular pot form (available at MAC Counters, MAC Stores and MAC Pro Stores), or in a pan refill form (available at MAC Pro stores only).
MAC Eyeshadow Finishes :
FROST – An iridescent shine that adds a highlight quality to any colour.
LUSTRE – Smoothly pearlized; intensely frosted with a deluxe ultra-fine “conditioned” finish.
MATTE – Hi-colour pay-off in a no-shine matte finish.
SATIN – Pure colour in a satin-style finish. Provides a soft subtle non-frost, light-refractive sheen.
VELUXE – Superfine texture. Pigment rich and very luxe. Supple to apply. Silky smooth matte finish.
VELUXE PEARL – Vibrant, velvety soft with a metallic shimmer. Veluxe formula overlaid w/ high-shine pearl.
VELVET – Soft look finish with high-colour intensity. Has a plush velvety look and feel.

MAC’s Eyeshadow is probably my favorite MAC product. I especially love the veluxe eyeshadows, the texture is so silky smooth, they’re alot of fun.

I’m a mac fanatic. I love the way that the eyshadow guides on easily and stays on forever. The colors are bright and dramatic. Coming up with different combos isnt a hard task at and when you have MAC cosmetics with you

MAC is the best and only makeup I will ever wear I don’t use anything less. The quality is aweful! MAC stays on all day. MAC has shades for anyone who likes bold colors or natural. Unlike many other cosmetics stores that cater towards one look MAC covers it all. I get compliments 24/7 and I’ve gotten my all my friends addicted to it!

I have been buying MAC products since the first counter showed up at Nordstrom in Tyson’s Corner, VA! They only had one small case in the bay! I love the shadows, lipsticks, and the lipliners are the absolute BEST!!!!
I loved Mineralism and now I am searching for another great color like that!!

Hi I am new to MAC products. I have been trying to learn techniques for eyeshadow but when I went to the counter, the young women were not too inviting to this older woman. I am 47 years old and have been re-invented after losing 263lbs so far.
I just want to learn the right way. Can you help me without going into the store?

Hello everyone, this is a totally cool site. Thanks for the hard work and product info. I am a new MAC ADDICT. I opened my own ebay store and sell it on a daily basis. I am always searching for rare,LE and DC shades. If anyone can assist in these items, please email me. MAC Rocks. I recently got my first professional MAC make-over, when the Barbie Loves MAC line was introduced. Wow, it was amazing. I know beauty is more than skin deep, but, I am a girly girl and when I wear MAC, I feel so beautiful. The colors accentuate my eyes and blend so naturally. So many to choose from. I am beginning my own collection. It is hard for me to part with certain colors. I always try to get many of the same shades, if at all possible. Thanks to ev1 for sharing. ~^~PeacE~^~

I love the MAC eyeshadows. I currently have about 10 and love adding to my collections. They have the funnest colors. I will not wear any other eyeshadow; now every brand, even high end brands such as Dior and Chanel, seem cheap against MAC. I HIGHLY reccomend this product, in particular my favorite color is honesty. It is stunning on.

MAC has opened up a whole new game in the makeup industry. There are other products that are good out there but MAC is the best! I refuse to put anything else on my face.

If you google ” favorite eyeshadow combinations”, you will pull up two links that someone took the time to put together some awesome MAC eyeshadow combos. There’s 198 pages of suggestions. I edited them for my personal use and printed them out to look at the next time I’m looking for a new look.

Hey all…great site! I’m a true MACaddict to the core (been using for 12 years now) & compiling a list of all the mac colors & their shade descriptions. Thanks for all the help. FYI to all MACaddicts (as I’m sure we all are): MAC is releasing their Novel Twist Line exclusively at Nordstrom only and are available for pre-order! Get yours now! My favoriteeyeshadow has been discontinued. It is greystone matte. I use it as an eyeliner I was sold Blackberry matte to replace it but it simply does not work. Can I still get some somewhere?

I have a retired eyeshadow that I would love to know if its been replicated with another name. Its called “HAZE”. There was a coordinating nail polish. It was a pearly blue green. Its NOT the new PURPLE HAZE.
