MAC Products for Lips
MAC offers a wide variety of lip products including a ton of different lipgloss formulas, many types of lipstick products, and even a broad spectrum of lipcare items. Whether you are looking for a fun, daytime look, or a dramatic evening look, MAC most likely has a product to help give you the look you want. Here are some basic descriptions of each product. We are currently creating separate pages for each lip product - each page will contain complete shade lists as well as a more detailed review of the product. MAC’s world famous lipsticks come in nine different finishes and hundreds of shades so you can achieve just the look you desire. The high quality formula provides moisture and long wearing coverage. MAC Lipstick is one of MAC’s most popular products.
Lacquer
MAC’s Lacquer offers offers excellent coverage paired with extreme shine. Lacquer is a long lasting, liquid formula that gives your lips a shellac look and a lacquered shine. The super-intense colours provide you with a shiny, synthetic look.
Lip Varnish

A liquid lipcolour that combines varnish-style high gloss, wet-shine finish with rich, vibrant colour. Applies direct, glides over the lip via its own doe-foot applicator. Featherweight. Non-sticky. In wear, high-comfort, sexy, lasts for hours.

Lac Lustre

MAC’s Lac Lustre is a demi-matte lip rouge that is quite similar to MAC’s Lip Lacquer except that the Lac Lustre is not as shiny and synthetic looking. Lac Lustre goes on smoothly, and offers a moisturizing formula for your lips.

PRO LONGWEAR:
Pro Longwear Lip Colour
MAC’s longest wearing lipcolour. First apply the special colour base. Then, apply the long-lasting clear gloss. This high endurance formula is made to last, but is still comfortable and soft to wear. For removal, use MAC’s Cleanse Off Oil.
Pro Longwear Lustre Lip Colour
Similar to MAC’s Pro Lonwear Lip Colour, but with a highly reflective mirror finish.
Pro Longwear Gloss Coat
Same gloss top coat that comes with both of the above Pro Longwear formulas. Perfect for quck touch-ups and can be snapped onto either Pro Longwear Lip Colour or Pro Longwear Lustre Lip Colour if the original Gloss Coat runs out. Gives your lips lots of shine, and is perfect for keeping your makeup fresh throughout the day. Available in Clear, and the following special effects shades: Pearlizer, Crystalizer, Pink Iridescence and Mirror.

GLOSS:
Clear Lipglass
One of MAC’s most amazing products. This clear, super high gloss product makes your lips look just like glass. Gives lips a glassy finish that is vibrantly sexy. Can be used on its own for natural colour with intense shine, but can also be applied over just about anything including MAC’s Lipsticks, Lip Pencils, and even other glosses for the most intense shine ever.
Tinted Lipglass
Another MAC favorite. One of the most popular products MAC offers. MAC Lipglass comes in tons of colours and is THE best Lip Gloss ever. Like MAC’s Clear Lipglass, MAC Lipglass can be applied over MAC’s Lipsticks and Lip Pencils.
Plushglass
Sheer lip colour with a pearlized high-shine gloss finish. Formulated to instantly ampilfy lips. Comfortable to wear, while giving your lips a lush, multi-dimensional look. Gives a cool-warm, vanilla buzz to the lips. Moisturizes, soothes and visibly plumps the lips to make them look luxuriously healthy and well-conditioned.
Chromeglass
A soft lip glass that provides an intensely reflective”chrome-look” finish in addition to the super high shine that MAC Lipglass offers. Brush applicator.
Lustreglass
Similar to MAC Lipglass, but with a Lustre finish. Same high shine as MAC’s Lipglass, but overlaid with a pearlized glaze and added shimmer. Same bottle as Tinted MAC Lipglass, but with a brush applicator.
See Thru Lip Colour
Limited Edition / Currently Discontinued
A lightweight gel lip stain that deposits long-wearing transparent colour on the lips. Provides an ultra sheer look and comfortable application. Refreshing in wear. Makes lips look “just kissed.”
Lip Gelee
MAC’s softest-textured gloss in a Gelee formula. A fun product that squeezes on and distributes easily. Comes in a squeezable tube with a slanted tip for precise application. Fun, sheer colors give your lips a punch. Provides moisture for the lips as well as tons of shine for a wet, shiny, vibrant look.
Glitz Gloss
Limited Edition / Currently Discontinued
Sheer gloss in a pot sprinkled with glitter for the most super glam effect. Formulated with moisturizing agents to provide your lip with continuous conditioning.

LIP PENCILS:
MAC Lip Pencil
MAC’s pencils are great for shaping and lining lips, but are also great for filling in for added long-lasting colour. Their pencils provide consistent colour and are soft enough to make application comfortable without taking away from thier ability to provide precise and enduring application. MAC’s Lip Pencils also contain Vitamin E (which acts as an anti-oxidant) and emollients to ensure smooth, moisture-rich application. Easy to sharpen.
MAC Cremestick Liner
This liner is creamier than the Lip Pencils and packed with pigment. Self-sharpening.

MAKEUP TIP OF THE WEEK:
Full, sexy lips: Start with MAC lipliner and lightly line upper and lower lip. Next, add a little chapstick or MAC’s Lip Conditioner. Next, apply a tiny bit of Clear Lipglass to the center of upper and lower lips (Be careful not to apply gloss to edges - JUST in the center). Next, apply MAC Lipstick in your favorite shade. Lipstick acts as a sealant to seal in the layer of moisture underneath. Finally, apply either MAC’s Tinted Lipglass in the color of your choice, or a bit more of Clear Lipglass to complete the look with extra shine.
EDITOR’S PICKS:
MAC Lipstick in Gel (frost) - This shade is a MUST HAVE! Shimmery, golden nuetral sheer color. Looks great with a natural color scheme, as well as with a high glam golden color scheme.
MAC Lipstick in Plink! (lustre) - Also a must-have. This shade is the perfect spring pink. Plink is a shade that has just enough warmth and subtlety to avoid making lips look to unnaturally “pink”, but enough brightness to complement your brighter MAC palettes.
MAC Lipglass in Prrr - One of MAC’s most popular Lipglass shades. A perfect neutral pink with shimmer. We wish they would come out with additional medium pink shades since they are so versatile. MAC usually comes out with a medium neutral pink MAC Lipglass in most of their limited edition palettes.
MAC PLushglass - Try MAC’s Plushglass if you haven’t already. They are great for giving you a sexy, full lipped look, and are easy to apply. They are so much fun!
